The LoTemp Door is clad with 26 ga white stucco embossed steel interior and exterior over an aircraft grade anodized aluminum internal frame, with reinforced mitered corners. Insulated with a minimum of 4”, R32 ,non-CFC foamed in place polyurethane foam insulation.
A wood free design with the use of white HDPE (high density polyethylene extrusion) for the header , casings, jambs and mirror image backframes. Since wood creates many adverse conditions because of warping, swelling, rotting, harboring bacteria, molds and fungus, it has become a problem in cold storage door manufacturing. These adverse conditions lead to problems maintaining a good perimeter seal and passing critical health inspections.
The HDPE is a maintenance free solution that provides exceptional resistance to moisture, fading, insects, splintering and warping. Consistent density and no voids in the material eliminates the possibility of bacteria, molds and fungus growth and creates a strong durable frame. The HDPE has no wood fillers and has high color stability which maintains its original color.
The strength, durability and overall appearance of the HDPE means no additional steel cladding of the frame is required. Steel cladding of the HDPE is an option when the frame is required to match a non-white wall.
Freezer doors have full perimeter heater cables in door ready for connection to 120V/60Hz, single phase AC line. The heat at the bottom of the door in conjunction with the 4 sided bottom gasket creates a warm “chamber” under the door which eliminates the need for in-floor heaters.
Adjustable reinforced neoprene bulb seals mounted on casings and header for a positive seal. Corrects wall irregularities for proper seal. Bottom of door has a sweep sill of grease resistant reinforced gasket at 4 sides.
Aircraft grade anodized aluminum track holder with “V” grooved wheel on UHMW triangle down and in door track system creates a positive seal at frame and floor. Combined with a carrier that incorporates a heavy duty non-derailing system and angle bracket for a sturdy and reliable operation.
Dual Speed Operator – Power requirements 110V – 575V, 1 phase, 60 cycle (one leg of 3 phase capped) Brushless technology motor totally enclosed for life.
Controller with overload protection provides smooth quiet operation with programmable acceleration and deceleration. Programmable obstruction sensing for safety. Operates at an average speed of 30” per second per panel to open and 18” per second per panel to close. Two (2) remote pullcord switches for open/close controls. NEMA 4 enclosure.
